B'ahava means "through love": in the future sacrifices will be fulfilled through love, rather through other means, such as a knife etc. Actually, our rabbis added this word of "ahava" which does not appear in the Torah regarding sacrifices. Ratzon - pleasing to God - is the Torah word. Love is a rabbinical addition and "through love" as we have it is more radical than "with love" which "im ahava" would mean.

RAL

Shalom and best wishes,

Rabbi Asher Lopatin

You realize the text clearly states, "ואת מוסף יום... הזה נעשה ונקריב לפניך באהבה", and NOT "עִם אהבה."
Translation: The text says "do sacrifices with (meaning: in) love" NOT "do sacrifices with (meaning: of) love." They are two different words with different meanings, as I am sure you know. If the authors meant the second wouldn't they use it?
Not sure this all works with out that key interpretation...
