Ratzon – pleasing to God – is the Torah word. Love is a rabbinical addition and “through love” as we have it is more radical than “with love” which “im ahava” would mean.

Translation: The text says “do sacrifices with (meaning: in) love” NOT “do sacrifices with (meaning: of) love.” They are two different words with different meanings, as I am sure you know. If the authors meant the second wouldn’t they use it?
Not sure this all works with out that key interpretation…
