Probably no one has all the facts – but the government seems closer than those talking about a Hadassa Hospital conspiracy. My main point is that the riots – and even the protests – are a chilul Hashem and the communities – all communities – need to look for effective ways of Kiddush Hashem. The gatherings in New York, in response to the arrests in the Syrian community, which urged people to respect the law and the US were a kiddush Hashem. The courageous letter of apology that the Spinka rebbe wrote was a kiddush Hashem. Just feeling that everyone hates you and not taking responsibility is not impressive.
